Step 11: Now, close SP Flash tool on your computer and unplug your smartphone. Once it is over, you will see the “ Download OK” green ring in SP Flash Tool. Step 10: The flashing process will begin momentarily, and it will get completed in a minute or two. Step 9: Next, connect your Vodafone VFD300 Android device to your computer through original USB cable (without battery – if it is battery removable) and press volume up or volume down button. I am beginning to think that my file transfer issues may be to do with the tr909 client as i seem to use up my data transfer allowance very quickly every month, i was going to call it a download allowance but vodafone changed the terms of my contract a few months after i signed to include uploads and downloads in my.ahem ' download allowance '. Had to resort to buying a switch which only solved some of the file transfer issues(slow) never got to use the router as a NAS as i could never get it to see anything bigger than 29 megabytes, it does not matter if it is a usb stick or an external hard drive it thinks everthing is the same size. I also disabled RIP and set the DNS settings to addresses or 8.8.8.8 to help solve the surfing issues. The net result of that was that i can play battlefield bad company multiplayer over the wireless signal with no stutter and no lag whatsoever. I had to change some settings however to get everything right: first of all i set the ip address on my ps3 to a static one and created a DCHP reservation for that address in the 556a router settings, turned off QoS and opened a port for the ps3 ip in the NAT settings on the router. I have had 2 of these routers from vodafone since 2009 and the first one gave me all the problems mentioned in the pages of this thread (dropped connections, 29mb external hard drives etc.), i updated the firmware on the second replacement router as soon as it came out and ever since then my router has performed like a dream.
